This tester is used to evaluate the falling weight endurance on coated film and point impact strength for plastic film.

Attaching the test specimen between the die and the punch, the operator is to drop a weight from a certain height.

After the weight has been dropped the operator is to check for transformations, cracks, and peels caused by the impact.

The tester can also be assorted with a low temperature oven (L type).
